ONE COLLECTION IS THE "INSPIRATION" FOR IT ALL

Yclip, an internet company based in Austin, Texas, began from the ground up to create a unique and inviting work space. Utilizing Lees' Inspiration Collection as the foundation for the design, Susman, Tisdale, Gayle, (STG) also of Austin, was challenged to create a hip hi-tech environment to attract and retain employees. The design team - Martha Horlander, Teresa Starkey, and Jennifer Coyle - began with carpet cut-out patterns that mirrored the unique curved and drop-down ceiling elements.
"We specified the Inspiration Collection for this project because we wanted to coordinate multiple patterns throughout the facility that varied in price point, but did not compromise our aesthetics goal," said Martha Horlander, principal, Susman, Tisdale, Gayle. The patterns Notion, Concept and Aspire were mixed and matched throughout the facility, yielding a stunning floor design in a natural colorway.
"The carpeting had to be durable and stain resistant," continued Horlander. "We knew Lees' Unibond backing system would hold up to the challenges of heavily-trafficked areas without the risk of wear or edge ravel." Unibond provides a bond that is three times stronger than conventional latex-backed carpets, and a moisture barrier that is mold and mildew resistant.
Staining was also a key concern of the design team. The Inspiration Collection is constructed with Lees patented stain resistant technology, Duracolor® provides permanent stain resistance to common stains such as coffee, tea, juices and soda.
