TIPS

Software Needed
Before you begin using Drag & Fly, be sure to download your free copy of the I-Drop software. Go to the Download I-Drop page to download the software, or to see if the plug-in is already installed.

File Naming
For convenient reference, all files are named using style name, color number, and scale for the image they contain.

Scaling
Remember to place your images at scale. All scale units are represented in feet. Example: a single carpet tile is 2’ x 2’; a 4 tile set is 4’ x 4’; a 25 tile composite is 10’ x 10’. Depending upon the nature of the style selected, the rendering block will contain anywhere from 4 to 25 tiles to accurately depict that style.

Multi-Direction
Multi-directional downloads contain twenty-five tiles. This diagram shows a possible installation for a multi-directional style, with each number representing one of nine unique tiles that were used to create the rendering block. We recommend turning blocks that are adjacent to one another, so they do not point in the same direction. This approach will afford the most accurate representation for the style being rendered.

Image Treatment
All images have been treated to accurately represent pattern, color, and scale.

Moiré
If you experience moiré effect distortions of your selected pattern, they can be easily eliminated by enlarging or reducing your room scene.

Download to Desktop
The "Download to Desktop" option offers single tile images that are ideal for presentation purposes. Use them to build floor grids by mixing styles or color ways, or use for placing insets and borders.
