Lees Carpets has utilized state of the art antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal technology to develop Bioguard carpets, a collection of commercial broadloom, modular and six-foot carpets that enhance patient comfort and safety.
Unlike other antimicrobials, Bioguard does not need to be consumed by microorganisms to be effective. When microbes come into contact with the treated carpet fibers, their cellular functions are disrupted and reproduction is eliminated. The active antimicrobial ingredient in Bioguard has passed stringent performance tests and has been engineered to last for the life of the carpet.
